THIS was the scene at Westonzoyland Airfield on Friday after a man died in a motorbike tragedy.
According to police, two men were riding in a race bike and side car when they lost control of the vehicle and it collided with a fence.
Nigel Parkinson, 53, from Weymouth, was killed at the scene. The other man involved was not hurt.
No other vehicles were involved.
The West Somerset Coroner’s office said an inquest into the man’s death is likely to be opened and adjourned this afternoon.
