A GROUP of young Cannington cadets raised money to keep their platoon open by running the Hestercombe Hurtle.
Arron Wood, 16, James Amatiello, 16, James Garland, 15, and Beth Harrish, 13, ran the 5k race to help continue what they passionately believe in.
Daniel Garland, 12, was too young to run the race but did a fantastic job as chief fundraiser.
They are all pictured here with John Garland, who acted as cadet supervisor during the race.
