PENROSE School’s plea for help buying a new kitchen for its younger pupils has been answered.
Magnet Trade in Bridgwater has supplied a brand new £2,500 kitchen for the school’s Apple Tree classroom.
The firm donated all the units and a sink which now means the area has a new workspace to enhance learning and make playtime easier.
Liz Hayward, head teacher, said: “Penrose School has struggled gaining additional budgets to help with facilities for the school so it’s great that Magnet Trade in Bridgwater were happy to lend a hand and supply the kitchen.
“It has helped to transform the Apple Tree classroom, aiding our youngest students to learn and play. It’s really made a huge difference and we’re very grateful to Magnet Trade.”
Magnet Trade said it was happy to help and it hopes the new kitchen makes everyday tasks easier for staff and pupils.
