A TEAM of students from Bridgwater College have won the local round of the Rotary Club Youth Speaks competition for the second year running.
The trio are all studying the international baccalaureate diploma programme and speaker Aidan Peppin spoke with great eloquence on the issue of suggestion in regard to human behaviour, including speculation as to why James Bond preferred the mixing methods for his Martinis.
Aidan, aged 17, and Annie Whitcombe, aged 18, both former pupils of Chilton Trinity Technology College, were accompanied by Leanne Baker, aged 18, and former pupil of Churchill Community School.
Their trophy is now on proud display in the college reception area.
