A SMALL fire in the engine of a fuel tanker caused queued traffic in Bridgwater this afternoon. Fire crews were called to Salmon Parade just before 2pm today, to reports of the fire. On arrival, they discovered a small fire had been contained in the engine compartment of the tanker, and had caused 5% damage. Crews worked to dampen down the area around the vehicle. Traffic queued along Bristol Road while the incident was being dealt with by the fire service.
