MIDDLEZOY Pre-School has become one of the first pre-schools in the country to take delivery of a free pack full to the brim with sports equipment.
It contains more than £200 worth of items designed to encourage individual and team activities for children under five, including a rainbow parachute, balls, scoopers, soft foam flyers and hoops.
Rebecca Peppard, pre-school leader, said: “It’s fantastic because we can use it inside as well as outside, so it’s perfect for rainy days.
“The scheme is great because we’re a small pre-school so we can’t afford lots of equipment- this was free and so easy to do.
“Sports and physical activities are so important for children of this age, and this equipment will help them to have fun and get fit at the same time!”
