PENROSE School in Bridgwater has designed a new logo – with three words summing up the school’s core values – to “achieve, celebrate and belong”.

Head teacher Liz Hayward made a short presentation about the project which resulted in the creation of the new logo, at the end of an open afternoon, attended by more than 60 parents, carers and representatives of support and partner organisations.

She said: “We felt that our school logo didn’t reflect the spirit or identity of Penrose, so we engaged the services of Gordon Coldwell (of marketing firm i>brand) to work with us to develop a new school logo.”

Mr Coldwell has also helped the school produce its new prospectus.

Liz Hayward added: “We now look forward to building on this work by actively seeking to raise the profile of the school and the achievements of our pupils.”
