A FUN day of creative learning was held at Robert Blake Science College in Bridgwater – giving students a break from the day-to-day norm.

Activities included a visit from Secret World Wildlife Rescue’s volunteers who showed off a variety of wild animals to year seven students as part of their work on adaptations and environments.

Year eights were introduced to all aspects of Chinese life with themed food at lunchtime and the chance to learn Mandarin and design and make a Chinese dancing dragon, helped by Chinese students from Exeter University.

Students from year nine were challenged to match their life dreams and aspirations to the reality of the world of work.

Identity was the theme for year tens studying poetry and creative writing and year 11s worked with staff to improve their examination prospects and complete practical assessed projects.
