Westonzoyland CC's Christmas cart raises £1,450
WESTONZOYLAND Carnival Club's Christmas sleigh has been doing some extra journeys around Bridgwater to raise cash for charity.
The club has handed over £1,450 to be shared between St Margaret's Somerset Hospice and the neo-natal baby unit at Musgrove Park Hospital.
Julie Draper, from St Margaret's, said: “Very many thanks go to the Bridgwater communities for their generosity, Santa, and all the members of the Westonzoyland Carnival Club.
“Special thanks go to Lucy Goodman who so valiantly co-ordinated all the rotas.”
