POLICE have this week issued a fresh public appeal to trace a man in connection with a serious sexual assault on a 15-year-old girl at Bridgwater Fair.
The terrifying ordeal happened on St Matthew's Field, between 9pm and 10pm on October 1 last year.
Police want to talk to a man, believed to be in his 30s, who was seen on the day wearing a red and black hooded jumper with a distinctive motif on the back.
Police described him as of podgy build, with dark greased back hair in a curtain style. He spoke with an Irish accent and had a chin-strap beard.
