COMMITTED members of the Friends of Wembdon Road Cemetery took part in a training session as they prepare to give the historic graveyard an overhaul.
The group was trained by Sedgemoor District Council in manual handling and health and safety so it can tidy and restore the cemetery to its former glory.
Chairman Miles Peterson said the group's main priorities were to tidy up and secure the site against anti-social behaviour. It is looking for new volunteers to come forward to help with the effort.
