TWO cars were involved in a crash on the M5 between Junctions 23 and 24 at 8.25 this morning.
There were not thought to be any injuries but an ambulance attended as a precaution.
A police spokesman said there had been an impression the accident was more serious due to the fact a lorry was stuck behund the cars acting as a barrier, which made it look like more vehicles were involved.
The left hand lane of the motorway was closed while emergency services attended.
