Bridgwater came out on top by 24 runs in a sparkling game of cricket against Taunton St Andrews in the SCF Major Cup second round.
Electing to bat first at The Parks, Bridgwater initially wavered, standing 31-3 early in the match.
The game changed when captain Alex Eckland hit a crucial 60, which formed a pivotal 64-run partnership with Harminder Singh, taking the score to 95.
Luke Pearson Taylor, Mike Coles, Charlie Sharland, and Tom Bellinger all added to the score, taking Bridgwater to a respectable 187-8 from their 20 overs.
In response, despite Cameron Harding's strong 60 for Taunton, the team was all out for 163, one ball shy of their full 20 overs.
Critical to stifling Taunton's offensive were the performances of Luke Pearson Taylor, who took 4-41, and Kyron Devitt, who hampered the adrenaline-fuelled innings of the Saints with figures of 2-22.
James Reagan's excellent fielding and 2-21 further put the brakes on the Taunton's cricketing charge.
The much-celebrated victory means Bridgwater will next host Wellington CC in the quarter finals on a date to be arranged.
