Bridgwater Hockey Club held their annual Stick it to Cancer day earlier this month.
The day saw two fantastic games of hockey along with a very generous raffle and plenty of yummy cakes! We are very proud to announce that a grand total of £1262.80 was raised, this money will be split equally between Breast Cancer Now and Prostate Cancer UK, two charities which are very close to the hearts of the club.
A spokesman for the club thanked everyone who supported the event.
On the pitch, Bridgwater men's thirds warmed up for the new season with a 5-1 win over Weston-super-Mare on Saturday (September 21).
