Success for Bridgwater Swimming Club at the SouthWest Masters Regionals shows ‘how far the squad has come’.
The Masters Squad, which only started at the beginning of 2024, competed at the Southwest Masters Regionals at Millfield Pool in Street.
The swimmers from Bridgwater chieved 10 personal bests, 12 national best times and won four heats.
A spokesman for the club said: “The swimmers swam fantastic today. We have achieved 10 pb's, 12 National times, and 4 firsts in heat.
“Our Masters Squad only started at the beginning of the year but has already come so far.
“Congratulations to our swimmers Lynsey, Alice, Hannah and Joshua.
“The team were joined by coach Jen, along with Keith officiating and Katie as chief supporter.”
Bridgwater Swimming Club have discovered their group opponents for the National Swimming League Western. They are in a group with Bridgend Swim Club, Brixham, Barnstaple, Millfield B, Paignton, Newton Abbot and Cirencester. The Gala will take place in Plymouth on November 9.
