Sydenham Amateur Boxing Club won big at Europe's biggest amateur competition.
They sent a team of eight boxers and three coaches to the King of the Ring tournament in Boras, Sweden, on October 31.
The competition saw 700 boxers from 16 different countries, including the USA, Canada, and Greenland, competing across various age groups and categories.
Club's representatives, Ashton Anthony, Cole Hancock, Fabien Sulmina, Blake Wright, Lucas Holman, Theo Mitchell, Bradley Watts, and Keelan Preston-Harris, were all vying for gold under the guidance of coaches Callum James, Jack Hughes, and Glyn Watts.
Four of the club's boxers made it to the semi-final stage.
14-year-old Theo Mitchell faced Sweden's Amer Selimovic but narrowly missed out on a points decision, securing a bronze medal.
Fabien Sulmina, the current national champion and GB Tri Nations silver medallist, faced Erik Lundstrom, another Swedish southpaw.
Despite landing stronger shots and even busting his opponent's nose, Fabien surprisingly missed out on the decision.
17-year-old Cole Hancock faced Greenland's Aputsiaq Didriksen and secured a win within 20 seconds after Didriksen's shoulder dislocated, forcing him to retire.
14-year-old Ashton Anthony faced Moroccan-born Caesar Zetali, fighting out of Sweden, and claimed victory on the scorecards with his impressive footwork and shot selection.
Both Cole and Ashton advanced to the finals, with Ashton facing the current Scottish national champion and GB Tri Nations silver medallist Ethan Storrie.
Despite a valiant effort, Ashton fell short and claimed the silver medal.
Cole faced Denmark's Erik Minyashan for the gold medal and, after three gruelling rounds, was crowned the King of the Ring champion via a split decision.
A spokesperson for Sydenham ABC said: "As a club, we are immensely proud of all the boxers’ efforts.
"It was a brilliant experience for everyone involved and for a small club from Bridgwater to come back with one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals from Europe’s biggest amateur boxing competition is just fantastic."
However, the club has no time to rest, as they have a home show in Bridgwater at Blake Hall on Friday, November 29.
The event promises to be an action-packed night, with 15 local boxers set to compete.
