AFTER last weekend's break in the schedule for the Rugby World Cup final, Bridgwater & Albion and North Petherton return to South West 1 West action.
Pethy’s 1st XV are back in action tonight (Friday), when they host Sidmouth at Beggars Brook.
Pethy were beaten 35-6 by leaders Thornbury in their last outing, leaving them in eighth place with four wins and four losses from eight games.
Sidmouth are just one place and one point behind, having won three and lost five.
Sixth-placed Bridgwater & Albion are looking to build on their 19-13 victory over Lydney, as they visit Newent tomorrow (Saturday).
Newent are struggling at the wrong end of the table this season, having won one and lost six so far.
In Somerset 1, table-topping Bridgwater & Albion 2nd XV go to Crewkerne tonight, while ninth-placed North Petherton 2nds are away to Old Sulians tomorrow.
North Petherton Ladies, beaten 50-12 by Topsham last weekend, are still searching for their first win of the 2019/20 league season.
Without a match this weekend, they return to action on Sunday, November 17, when they host Plymstock Albion Oaks in a basement club battle.
