EXETER City's Wembley nightmare continued, as they lost their third League Two play-off final in four seasons against Northampton Town.
Not even the second-half introduction of midfielder Archie Collins, who was born in Taunton and grew up in Edington (near Bridgwater), could turn the match around.
Ryan Watson and Callum Morton put Northampton 2-0 up at half-time, and Exeter boss Matt Taylor turned to 20-year-old Collins (who had assisted the Grecians' winner in the play-off semi-final second leg), bringing him on seven minutes into the second half.
But just seven minutes after that, Dean Moxey was sent off, and the 10-man Grecians were beaten 4-0 - Sam Hoskins and Andy Williams scoring late goals for League One-bound Northampton.
The match was played behind closed doors at Wembley, and Exeter fans were probably glad they did not make the long trip up to London.
