ALICE and Matthew Lee - who have been members of Enmore Park Golf Club for three years - enjoyed their first ever victories in junior competitions last week.

Matthew, who is 12 years old and plays off a handicap of 23, teamed up with Rachel Johnson to win the Junior Packer Trophy on Tuesday with 46 points.

In second place in the competition, which attracted 10 teams, Harry Brown and Joe Young scored 45 points, while hot on their heels with the same score in third place were Julie Blumgart and this year's junior captain Ollie Thomas.

Later in the week, Alice Lee, who is 14, claimed her first victory when she came out on top in the season-ending Pearce Cup, with 42 points.

Olivia Lake was second with 41 points while her twin brother Rory claimed third place with 39.
