WITH no training or matches possible during lockdown, Bridgwater Hockey Club has come together to raise money for mental health charity Mind.
The fundraiser - called #MoveForMind - is the brainchild of women’s 1st XI captain and club social media officer Sapphy Reed-Yang (pictured).
Club members were set the target of running, walking and cycling a total of 1,000 miles over the lockdown period, with the aim of raising £250 for the charity.
Already the 1,000-mile target has been reached - and so a new goal of 2,000 miles has been set!
More information on the challenge can be found on the club's Facebook page and the fundraising page here.
