BRIDGWATER Hockey Club's Men's First team kept their unbeaten season going with an emphatic home win against Minehead last week.
It took the tally this season to three wins and one draw from the opening four games for the Bridgwater side.
As they have done all season, they started strong, pressed extremely well from the front and kept Minehead in their own half.
Bridgwater opened the scoring within 5 minutes, goal coming from midfielder, Sam Uminski.
It wasn't long until Uminski added Bridgwater's second, scoring only a few minutes later he was able to dribble his way through the Minehead defence and slot it past the keeper.
The away side scored their only goal of the game through a short corner, slipping the ball to a player on the left hand side who was able to sweep the ball over the defence and into the top of the goal.
Tom Lott and Duncan Morrish both scored before the break to leave the score at 4-1 at half time.
In the second half, Lott added three more goals to make it four in total for him and Bridgwater were well on top.
The home side finished of the game with another short corner goal, Charles Grossey being the scorer for the match to end 8-1.
The team had a week off last weekend, but return this week as they travel to Bristol to face Firebrands, who are currently sitting midtable.
