Regional 2 Tribute South West: North Petherton 24-34 Crediton
NORTH Petherton RFC were beaten at home at the weekend by Crediton in what was an entertaining game of rugby.
The match in the Regional Two Tribute South West ended 24-34 in Crediton's favour but North Petherton put in a good performance.
It was a spirited showing from the hosts against promotion-chasing Crediton RFC and the win sees the visitors move into second place.
For North Petherton, they now are in seventh place on the league table and will look to climb up the table in the games remaining.
In other news at the club, North Petherton are set to take on the Army Masters at home in a must see game on March 9.
The club has said in a statement: "On 9th March North Petherton take on the Army masters at Beggars Brook, 2pm Kick off, 2pm.
"Post game antics in the clubhouse as England kick off against Ireland in the 6 Nations at 4:45pm. You have to be there!"
