U18 League Cup final: Chew Valley 36-5 Bridgwater & Albion
BRIDGWATER & Albion RFC Colts were beaten at the weekend in the Somerset RFU Under 18 League Cup final.
They took on Chew Valley RFC Colts away from home in the match and were beaten 36-5 in what was a tough battle.
From the off the Chew Valley side were on the front foot as they were in control of proceedings however it wasn't all one way traffic.
Bridgwater put up a great fight against the very strong home side who were playing in front of a bumper Chew Valley home crowd.
Albion Colts can be proud of their efforts as they played with heart and determination right to the final whistle.
And of course, finishing second in a league cup competition is a great achievement in itself, and wraps up what has been a good season for the Colts.
After the match a spokesperson from Bridgwater & Albion RFC said: "Well done lads, you put up a great fight against very strong opposition."
