Bridgwater United Secured victory in their latest pre-season friendly.
On Tuesday (July 16) the Robins faces Yate Town from the Southern League South division – a step above the Western League Premier Divisiob which Bridgwater are a part of.
Despite attempts on goal from both sides in the first half, it was goalless at half time.
Just shy of the hour mark, Bridgwater made three changes, bringing Finn Koppa, Fran Souza and Josh Whadam on and it was one of the substitutes that made the difference.
On 60 minutes, Fran Souza scared the only goal of the game.
The Robins are due to face Middlezoy at Fairfax Park in their next friendly on Monday (July 22) night.
