North Petherton were beaten at home by Yeovil in their latest West of England Premier Cricket League fixture.
The visitors won the toss and elected to field. North Petherton never really got going through with wickets falling at regular intervals.
Tom Williams top scored with 28, with Jake Pike (24) and Will Bare the only others to breach 20 runs.
North Petherton finished on 136 all out from 47.2 overs.
Yeovil were set a revised target of 124 to win from 40 overs and reached the target, only losing one wicket when Calum Gundry was caught by Tom Williamsn off the bowling of Will Bere.
The result leaves North Petherton in eighth place with three games to go.
Next up they travel to Chard who sit just above them in the table in seventh place.
