Bridgwater and Albion enjoyed another hugely successful pre-season work out when they hosted Wellington RFC at College Way in front of a good sized crowd on Tuesday evening.
The match was played as four 20 minute sessions during which both sides took the opportunity to give many of their squad some game time.
A large number of last season’s squad have remained with the Albion in addition to which several of the youngsters stepped up to the mark during the course of the evening.
Wellington who play a league above the Albion in Regional 2 South West provided strong opponents and made good use of their backs whilst the Albion forwards fronted up well .
Bridgwater and Albion get their league season underway on Saturday 7th September with a home fixture against Nailsea and Backwell starting at 3pm.
