A victory for North Petherton Bowls Club’s mixed team against Taunton Deane in a friendly was the bright spark for the club this week.
On Sunday (September 1) the mixed side started the week in defeat when they took on Bridgwater in the Barrie Smith Trophy Final at Eastover Park. The final score was 52-96.
On Monday, the ladies faced Clevedon Promenade in the Wessex Ladies League at home. They also lost 39-52.
Two days later came the single win of the week for the club as the mixed side took on Taunton Deane in a friendly. North Petherton won 67-60.
On Saturday (September 7) the ladies were back in action against Minehead away from home in the County Ladies League. They were beaten 39-44.
