Blackhawks seconds kicked off their Exeter Basketball League Division 2 campaign with a thrill victory over Exeter Raptors.
The team showed grit and determination, securing a strong win to start their campaign on a high note.
Meanwhile, in the Somerset Basketball League, the seconds hosted the Bucaneers in a fiercely contested local derby. Both teams battled hard, but Blackhawks 2 emerged victorious with a 61-55 win.

Club founder Matt Lomen commented on the team’s impressive start:
"I’m delighted with the start we have made, especially with our new players who have hit the ground running. There are still a lot of areas we need to work on for the season, but some great basketball has been played right from the start. We just need to keep that momentum going forward."

Blackhawks Team 1 will be in action on Friday (September 27) against the Taunton Tigers in the Somerset League. The match takes place at Blake School, with tip-off at 7.45pm.
