Middlezoy Rovers shipped seven goals in an away defeat to Bridport on Saturday (October 5) as they made it three without a win.

Rovers made six changes from the side that got a point at home to Okehampton Argyle last time out with Ash Hutchings, Connor Harvey, Rhys Hayward, Dan Male and Dan Luce all coming into the side.

Bridpott made the better start as Hutchings was forced into a save on seven minutes. Three minutes later though, Middlezoy took the lead.

Oscar Albano won the ball back high up the pitch and crossed for Dan Lismore to score.

The lead lasted eight minutes as Bridport equalised when a whipped corner was flicked in at the near post and on 21 minutes it was 2-1 when Bridport scored from another corner.

It was 3-1 three minutes later but the hosts were reduced to 10 men on 34 minutes when Jordan Lovibond was denied a goalscoring opportunity.

However, the hosts made it 4-1 before the break as another corner led to a goal. It was the same formula for the fifth goal on 49 minutes as well.

Ten minutes from full time Bridport made it 6-1 with a strike from the edge of the box, and they added the seventh on the stroke of full time.
