Over Stowey Cricket Club recently held their annual presentation evening to celebrate their successful 2024 campaign.
Players, sponsors, and vice-presidents gathered for a four-course meal, followed by speeches and trophy presentations.
James Swales swept the 1st XI awards, taking home two batting and a bowling award.
Kieran Barrow received the award for best bowling average.
In the 2nd XI, Mark Sortwell took the batting awards, while Oli Washer bagged the bowling awards.
Fielding accolades went to Simon Burland for 1st team catches and Tyler Coleman for 2nd XI catches.
Charlotte Sortwell was named the club's most improved player, while Hayden Langlois received the players' player award.
Les and Hilary Biffen were honoured as clubman, and the coveted 'hole in the hand' award went to Matt Cunningham.
Club chairman Les Biffen, in his speech, expressed gratitude to all who contributed both on and off the pitch during a successful season that saw the club clinch the West Somerset League Knockout Trophy.
The club extended its appreciation to J&J Catering for the delightful meal that began the evening's festivities.
