After a week without a fixture Bridgwater & Albion First XV return to Western Counties (North) league action on Saturday with an away match against Gordon League .

The Gloucester baaed club who were promoted into this league at the end of last season currently occupy eighth place in the table with 13 points having won two of their seven matches.

From the same number of fixtures Albion have eight points having won one of their matches and find themselves next to the bottom of the table, so will be hoping that this is a game that they can get something from.

No games against the Gloucester based sides are ever easy but even in defeat the Albion have shown at times what they are capable of.

Meanwhile Bridgwater & Albion Seconds will be hoping to return to winning ways when they host local rivals North Petherton Seconds at College Way on Saturday afternoon kick off 3pm.

In their most recent  fixture the Bridgy Boys narrowly lost out in their Counties 3 Tribute Somerset South top of the table clash against Castle Cary and now find themselves second with 29 points from their seven matches- six of which they have won.

However the hosts can expect another tough game on Saturday against Pethy who are fifth with 23 points from four wins.

Form counts for nothing in local derbies so it should be a game worth going along to watch.

Bridgwater & Albion Third XV are without a game on Saturday but on November 16 they host Morganians- another local derby in Counties 4 Tribute Somerset South.

Next Sunday ( November 10) Bridgwater & Albion Ladies travel to North Cornwall to face Bude in Women's NC 2 South West (West).
