Bridgwater & Albion Seconds travelled to Tor on Saturday where in cold and wet conditions they put in another good performance to notch up their eighth win of the season.
The visitors were well in control from the start and a first half hat trick of tries from Danny Mahoney and one from Mason Shaw, one of which Ollie Phillips converted gave the Bridgy Boys a lead of 5-22 at the break.
In the second half Tor had the wind with them but were unable to take advantage as Bridgwater kept coming forward and took their opportunities.
Two more tries for Mason Shaw gave him his hat trick in addition to which Finley White went over for a score and Ollie Philips kicked one conversion, to make the final score 12-39.
Afterwards Brendon Goddard the team manager said: “This was another great performance in the condition which puts us second in the league. This Saturday we are at home to Wellington Seconds who are third in the table so please come down and support the boys.”
