Middlezoy Rovers put some space between them and the teams at the bottom of South West Peninsula Premier East with a 2-1 win over Torrington.
Zoy came into this match on the back of a 5-1 defeat to Stoke Gabriel & Torbay Police last time out and were on a four match losing streak which also included losing to their opponents Torrington in the reverse fixture in North Devon.
Torrington took the lead in this encounter first with a goal from a corner at around the 30 minutes mark.
Just before half time, Acey Mead scored to level the match to 1-1 at half time. In the second half Dan Male scored Zoy’s second goal.
The result leaves Middlezoy Rovers in 13th place after 12 games and next up they face Honiton Town away on December 7.
