THE Prince of Wales are two points clear at the top of Division One in the Bridgwater and District Men’s Darts League after they beat Crown Inn 5-4, despite an Andy Balsom 152 away shot.
Hope Inn moved into second spot with a 7-2 defeat of British Flag, which included a Jason Blackmore 160 away.
Hope moved above The Three Lions on legs after they went down 6-3 to The Squib in a match including a Patrick Verncombe 180 for Lions and a 150 away for Squib’s Les Read.
Pete Wright hit a 148 away as OVH Wanderers beat Railway A 6-3 and Martyn Loaring had a maximum 180 for Riversiders as they overcame Malt Shovel 5-4.
The Buccaneers stay top of Division Two as a Kalib Bowers 180 helped them to a 6-3 win over White Hart A.
They are still just two legs ahead of Railway B, who were 6-3 winners over the Sportsman.
The top two are four points clear of Sydenham Centre, who had a 5-4 win over Globetrotters.
Withy Lions followed up last week’s first win by beating White Hart B 6-3 and a Jack Burns 180 helped New Foresters to a 6-3 success over Blake Arms.
