WITH the windy weather against both teams, Saturn struggled to get into the game, giving Hovelands a 21-10 lead at half time.
Despite Beckie Cowley and Sally Haysham piling on the pressure in defence, they could not stop the high balls into the shooter who easily converted the passes into goals.
Excellent feeding and movement around the circle edge from Lisa Allen and Zoë Ingram in the third quarter encouraged Saturn to put every effort into the final quarter.
Although Saturn were pushing to score at least half the opposition's goals, it was too late and Hovelands ran out 41-20 winners, with Saturn just missing out on a point.
