ON a windswept Castle Cary pitch, Morganians faced this top of the table team who remain unbeaten this season.
Playing into the wind did not help them from the start, though Morganians produced some good tacking, the young and fit Cary backs who frequently had the overlap managed to run in five tries in the first half. Converting all of them.
At the break, a few changes were made Jeff Thompson, John Winter and Jason Richards were replaced by Simon Faber, Nigel Smith and Dan Thorne.
The second half saw Cary score six tries, against the tired M side. Only one of which was not converted.
Alan Lloyd-Jones came on for the last quarter, replacing Dan Thorne.
Next week, Morganians face Wells 2nds at home.
