North Petherton players averaged a stone a man heavier and the extra weight gave them the advantage. Bridgwater put up a good fight but the weight difference hindered them in the end.
North Petherton scored within 15 minutes of the first half and converted it. Twenty minutes later they scored and converted again, giving them a 14- 0 lead at half-time.
In the second half, Petherton scored two penalties to take a 20-0 lead. Some Bridgwater players were praised for their performances, including Ben Hayers, who had an excellent game and shows great promise.
Hooker Matt Hastie came back after injury to give a sparkling performance and captain Jonathan Frost also put in a good game.
