WOLVES had possession for a good part of the game and came close to scoring on several occasions.
Sam Anthony and Charlie Hill were thwarted by Minehead’s excellent keeper and, at the other end, Liam Temlett and Matty Hall played well.
Minehead took the lead and Wolves began piling on the pressure in the second half but just could not get past Minehead’s keeper before Minehead scored again.
Matty Hall, Wolves’ man-of-the-match, showed some excellent tackling, then Charlie Hill shot through a crowded area and scored to put Wolves back in the game.
But Minehead hung on to progress to the semi- final of the cup.
Most improved player was Sam Anthony.
