WITH Tiger Old Boys not playing, Red Tile were able to stretch their lead to five points at the top of the Uxella Sunday League Division 1.

A Steve Hall strike in the 92nd minute secured all three points for Tile against fourth placed Maltshovel.

In the only other game in Division 1, Cannington saw off basement side Abbey Moor with a thrilling 5-3 win.

Darryl Taylor hit two, and Adam Lawrence, Lee Turner, and Steve Lock netted for Cannington.

Division 2 leaders Blake Old Boys suffered a shock 3-0 defeat at fourth placed Highburn thanks to a brace from Wes Darrington and one from Rob Driver.

This allowed Middlezoy to close the gap at the top to three points after they comfortably saw off Huntspill 3-0. James Millard, James Lacey, and Nathan Barnard netted for the visitors.

Puriton remain rooted to the bottom after a 6-1 thrashing at Grasshoppers; two from George Weston and strikes from Jack Winter, Adam Knight, Nick Brown, and Dan Saunders secured the rout, with a cool finish to level the scores at the break from Jon Latham in reply.
