Bridgwater Ladies started in determined fashion against Weston Ladies following a run of encouraging performances.
They were soon ahead through Julie Reed's good strike after lots of pressure from Kath Briggs, Rachel Higgs, Miche Evans and Ann Marie Coate.
Weston were level just before half time when a cross found an unmarked player in front of goal, and they swept the ball past goalkeeper Amy Burridge.
The half time talk by Amy and Sue Chaplin called for more close marking in defence but continued pressure in attack.
Emma Hill drove at the Weston defence and forced them back into their D but it was the visitors who took the lead following a deflected shot.
But a spurred on Bridgwater pushed forward and created opportunities. Kath Briggs scored a well-deserved goal and a solo effort from Emma Hill regained Bridgwater's lead.
Rachel Higgs scored in the final few minutes for the final score 4-2.
Julie Reed and Emma Hill shared the player of the match award.
