Bridgwater'S run of good performances continued with a top quality display away to Wimborne.

Having frustratingly lost 2-1 to the Wayfarers earlier in the season, and knowing they had only lost once at home all season, Bridgwater were expecting a hard match.

Wimborne started the better and had most of the play in the first ten minutes. However, Bridgwater dominated and the remainder of the half was one-way traffic for the visitors.

Bridgwater were 4-0 up at half time with two goals from Lorraine Norman and Kate England.

Bridgwater started the second half in similar fashion and Sheila Burridge superbly converted a corner to make it 5-0.

Wimborne scored a consolation goal on the final whistle to finish the scores 5-1 to Bridgwater.

Bridgwater welcome table-topping Westberries to Chilton Trinity on Saturday.

Player of the match: Charlie Lewis.
