GRASSHOPPERS and Blake Old Boys will meet in the final of the Uxella Bridgwater Sunday League’s Geoff Harvey Cup.
Grasshoppers had a 5-2 win against NM Sports with Jack Winter and Dan Saunders scored two apiece and Dean Waghorn the other. NM Sports replied through Dominic Clarke and Gareth Monaghan.
Blake OB cruised into the final with a 6-0 win over Huntspill. Jamie Winter hit four goals and Pete Pritchard and Ed Harrison picked up one each.
In Group A of the Bill Brown Cup, Flag Old Boys went down 4-1 against Tiger Old Boys. Ian Bellinger scored two for Tigers and Adam Long and Chris Taylor picked up one each.
Cannington and Quantock Pride drew 2-2 with Cannington’s goals coming from Darryl Taylor and Chris Pearson.
In Group B, Abbey Moor won 2-1 against Maltshovel thanks to one goal from Jason Birch and penalty from Craig Chant.
Red Tile gained a 3-0 victory against Woolavington with two goals from Scott Rich and one from Shane Thompson.
Puriton lost 3-0 again New Foresters in Division 2, with Rob White, Nathan Fouracres and an own goal making the difference.
Ramblers drew 4-4 against Maxwells with Jarrid Mackay, Tom Pople, Ally Witts and Dan Sweeting on target for Ramblers.
