Bridgwater travelled to Mendip suffering selection woes as top scorer Lorraine Norman was ruled out through illness.
Millie Burridge was given the opportunity to join her mum, Sheila, and sisters Lucy and Amy in the team and did her family proud with a confident performance.
Charlie Lewis took a stick across the bridge of her nose after making a good tackle and was forced off for treatment but she was incensed when the resulting restart was awarded to Mendip.
Bridgwater were 1-0 down at half-time after a strike from outside the D hit Lou Sturgess on the shin, and Mendip scored from the resulting corner.
Bridgwater pushed forward in the second half but Mendip counter-attacked with purpose, scoring twice more before the final whistle.
