AFTER a slow start, Neptune managed to take a hold of the first quarter with some fluent passing and excellent feeds into the shooting circle by Dawn Fothergill and Chris Durant.
Knights, however, managed to fight back and at half-time the score was level at 26 all.
In the third quarter, Steph Carlin made some great interceptions but Knights were very tight in their defence and managed to slip into the lead going into the final quarter. Within a couple minutes of play in the final quarter, an injury within Neptune’s attack meant Knights could capitalise and they pulled away to win 53-45.
