North Petherton started very brightly and scored the first try through Nicholson but the conversion attempt was poor.
As the half wore on, North Petherton lost their impetus and put in some weak tackles, but managed to hold on for a 5-0 lead at half time.
The second half continued in the same vein but Minehead got on top and scored three tries and conversions to take charge of the game.
North Petherton U-11 26, Ivel 0 IVEL looked organised in North Petherton's second match but the home side had enough quality to win the game.
North Petherton lifted their spirits after the pack won the first scrum and continued to dominate.
They scored tries through Bishop, two, King and Anning, with conversions added by Anning, two, and Nicholson.
