CANNINGTON Colts were dumped out of the League Knock Out Cup at the first hurdle as they fell 4-2 to Locomotives.

The Colts had Dave Baker to thank for their two goals.

Highbridge Town progressed to the next round thanks to a 2-1 win over Sampford Blues. The prolific Richard Cattell and Will Bailey netted for Highbridge.

High-flying Middlezoy Rovers won a penalty shootout against Division Two's Staplegrove Rovers to go through to round three.

In Division One, Bridgwater Sports came from behind to draw 3-3 with Staplegrove. Sam Wilkinson put Staplegrove ahead before Adam Smith doubled their tally but Jake Chidgey pulled a goal back for Sports.

Mike Perry put Staplegrove further ahead before Aaron Walford and Matt Fursland earned the Bridgwater side a point.

North Petherton's Division Two title hopes suffered a huge blow as they fell to a 4-0 defeat against Bridgwater Sports Reserves.

Keir Meeker scored twice for Bridgwater Sports, while Jordan Meeker and Josh Champion scored one each.

Nether Stowey moved up to fourth after an impressive 5-1 away win at Minehead.

Josh Harvey's brace and goals from Nathan Legg, Chris Lynham and Lee Harvey earned them the win.

Wembdon Saints enjoyed a 4-1 win over Redgate thanks to goals from Ransford Davis-King, James Hatch, James Hitchcock and a John Doyle penalty. Aaron Tait scored a consolation goal for Redgate.

Middlezoy Rovers Reserves are on course for promotion to Division Two after a resounding 4-1 win over Sydenham Rangers.

Liam Moore, Steve Hall, Shaun Turner and Andy Smith were all on target for Rovers. Paul Ham responded for Rangers.

Stogursey, who were in the top two for much of the season, suffered a 2-1 defeat against Williton. Ryan Chidgey was on target for Stogursey.

Westonzoyland Reserves were thrashed 6-0 by Hamilton Hawks in Division Four.

Rhode Lane Wanderers narrowly beat Exmoor Rangers 1-0 thanks to Ben Patrick's effort.

Nether Stowey Reserves were weak at the back as they lost to Norton Fitzwarren Reserves 7-2. Ben Enever and Tom Andrews netted for Nether Stowey.

In Division Five, North Petherton Reserves beat Galmington Dragons 4-2. The North Petherton goals came from Joe Whitehead, two, Ollie Brewer and Gary Barnes.

In section A of the Division Five Cup, Bridgwater Grasshoppers fell to a 5-0 defeat against Sampford Blues.

Adam Chappell was in fine form as he scored twice in Gallery's 3-2 win over Halcon United in section B of the Division Five Cup.
