BOTH teams were below strength for this game but it was Mid Somerset who edged to victory.
Bridgwater were without Steve Pigden and Tim Bennett and Mid Somerset managed just ten men at the start, but they were soon up to 11 following the arrival of former Bridgwater player Richard Connock.
Mid Somerset opened the scoring when a young player was given too much room to score past goalkeeper Tony Codd.
Owen McBeath equalised ten minutes later after chasing what seemed to be a lost cause.
The visitors then scored another from a short corner before Bridgwater grabbed an equaliser from a penalty stroke by Simon Burland.
Mid Somerset took the lead for a shirt time but Bridgwater again eqaulised, this time from James Facey after a Geoff Banham pass.
But Mid Somerset snatched the win from another short corner.
