Back to league matters, and in division one Cannington Colts are doing their best to get themselves out of the relegation zone and their 2-1 away win at Bishops Lydeard helped their cause no end; Vince Kennedy and Lee Pope scored.

Bridgwater Sports started the day in fifth playing third placed Predators but their 4-3 win takes them to fourth just five points behind their opponents but with two games in hand. Ryan Weston put Predators in front but veteran Matty Fursland scored twice to give Sports the lead but it was then cancelled out by another Weston goal.

Fursland then got his hat trick to give the side the lead again but Lee Oparowski equalised just before the break. Both sides tightened up defensively but in the last minute as Predators pushed for the winner Sports broke away with Paul Organ slotting home the winner. North Petherton can still win the division two title but they have to win every one of their last six games.
