RED Tile booked their place in the semi-finals of the Bill Brown Cup hammering Quantock Pride 6-1.

Steve Hall bagged a brace for Tile with Damon Jennings, Shane Thompson, Andy Smith, and Mike Hart adding to the total.

Tile saw Tiger Old Boys close the gap on them at the top of the Uxella Sunday League Division 1 after they saw off Flag Old Boys 4-2 to go level on points.

Chris Taylor notched two and Paul Hooper and Mark Fursland also got on the scoresheet.

Maxwells put in the performance of the day in Division 2 with a 14-2 romp at Admirals, who replied through Kev Curran and an own goal.

Grasshoppers weren’t far behind in the goal stakes with a 10-0 thrashing of Ramblers – Jack Winter claimed a hat-trick, Josh Smith, Dean Waghorn, Chris Harman, Sam Weston, a Nick Godfrey penalty, Dave Norrell, and Dan Saunders also scored.

Highburn put six past Puriton thanks to hat-tricks from Martin Robins and Ross Bowman – Dan Long replied for Puriton.

Knowle and NM Sports played out a 1-1 draw with Dale Curtis netting for the home side and Scott Harman replying for Sports.
