Bridgwater travelled to sunny Plymouth for the last league game of the season.

Good work from Trunks and Lott troubled the OPM defence. Determined defending from Wood, Hedaux, Gower and Upham thwarted their chances.

Bridgwater picked up an early goal from Andy Taylor and they scored a second soon after with an impressive sleight of hand aerial from Trunks that confused the OPM defence and allowed him to set up Taylor for his second.

Good energy from the midfield of Matt Upham, Chris Dart, Tom Willis and Andy Taylor worked well to break down the OPM midfield.

OPM’s only goal came from a saved shot from keeper Saunders which was picked up by an unmarked forward to tap home.

Richard Gower picked up the third goal for Bridgwater - a happy ending to an up and down season in which Bridgwater finish 5th.

Man of the match Keiran Wood.
